The Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) hears matters relating to discrimination or harassment in violation of 17 protected grounds under the Ontario Human Rights Code such as age, ancestry, colour, race, citizenship, ethnic origin, place of origin, creed, gender or disability.
